Who's Debbie?
I'm a 40 year old stay at home mom. I have 3 children, Brandon who is nearly 20, Brandi who will soon be 7 and Jadzia who is just over 3. I do most crafts, am a Bible teacher, love to penpal and play on the computer. I've worked in a nursing home doing many different jobs, my favorite as Activities Director. I have 2 college degrees as well as other certification. I'm also married to Paul who is 35. We will have our 10th wedding anniversary in a few months. |

The Story Behind Debbie's Den
Since I was ill a great deal of my childhood, my mother bought me craft materials and books to help keep me occupied at home starting around age 14. I was in 8th grade then and had to wear a back brace which kept me from gymnastics and other activities. Later in life, I made many craft things and sold them in the small shop in the nursing home as well as took orders. It made me some cash during my first marriage. Later, I had a friend and penpal with a beauty shop. She kept my jewelry in her business and sold it for me. Crafts are great stress relievers as well as making a few extra bucks when you need them. In recent years, I also started auctioning on ebay. I've also done a lot of typing for others including books, websites, advertising leaflets and sales catalogues.
